Sharing Words & Songs!

Nick with his grandmother

Wayne lost his mom on May 24th. She was 90 years old.

Thanks to everyone who had him and his family in your prayers. Thanks for the thoughts, flowers, cards, gifts, calls and comforting words. It meant so much. Thanks to those who kept us in thoughts and prayers even if we didn't know it. Special thanks to Jean, Mattie, Vata, Glen, Wallace & Charisse, Ursula, Billie, Isaiah, Ishmael, Sissy, Wayne & Loretta, Sharon & Kendall, Anika, Belinda and Roderick. Hope we didn't forget anyone. We are so grateful.

Be humble but never underestimate your worth.

Don't allow your emotions to overpower your intellect.

A wise man speaks only after his anger has died.

Hope in the face of impossibility is God's specialty.

The lack of Bible study can lead to truth decay.

Time to Act

Think of someone you've been quick to judge. Pray for that person today, then ask God to help you see them as someone He created, loves, and is still working in. (From Guideposts)
