One thing I will always be grateful for is when Jean allowed me to leave home and come stay with her when she lived in Minden.

Thank you for being a great older sister. You sat over us like a siting hen. When you became a nurse we would call you about all of our ailments and you would give us the answer. Thank you. I love you and hope your 87th birthday is the best one yet.

I hope you are smiling all day. God bless you. Thanks again for naming me and inspiring me to be a nurse and a easy going mom. Thanks for coming to my graduation from nursing school. It meant so much that you were there and also for coming to spend time with me in Wa State while Wayne was in Korea. We had fun. I've always felt that I could count on you even if I didn't call on you. I did need you and you were there during my move/flight from SF back in 1980. :) I was young and quite immature when we lost Mama. I could have felt all alone if it wasn't for times like these when you were there. Thank you. Love you.

I wish to thank you Phillip Williams as you were the first one to call me and wish me Happy Birthday. It was so nice to talk to my Fe Fe. Wanda called later in the Day. Rikki got the word out and I received messages from people that I had never heard from before. So Thank you Rikki, Wayne and Nick for everything. Thank You Mattie. She never forget and her son is so special. When Rodney sent my Happy Birthday, he sent a photo of he and I when he was down here. It is such a nice picture that many people sent me a Happy Birthday just because of the picture. They did not know me. How about that.? Vata, Alexus, Lil Reg{ sent an audio} and his sweet mother sent a Happy Birthday. The Pitts family including Billie, Roni and Ursula, Carlton was on a cruise. Hope he had fun. Wallace and Charisse came and took me to my favorite restaurant {Mediterranian Cuisine}. Rick, Kamasi and his friend Sarah also joined the celebration with flowers and candle. Shimiriah, Kamasi's mother came later with flowers and some goodies from Louisiana. She always bring back goodies from La for me when she visits her relatives there. Sharon, her husband called on a trip to visit family, Glenidell is always late, but she showed out. She sent me some of her special lemons and a large bag of Jelly Bellies. Got a Happy Birthday from Roderick and Phillip Bell also from Dorothy Faye and Keisha and Tommie's brother from Texas. Larry finally got me this week. My phone was out and he was thinking something was wrong. Thomas' granddaughter and Jillian also called and Las' son Jr sent greetings. I hope I didn't forget anyone. If I did, it was not intentional and I really appreciate everyone who thought of me that day. Rikki. You did it again. Thank You
